One of the most beautiful states of the United States America, Hawaii is comprised of an archipelago of the Hawaiian Islands in the central Pacific Ocean. The Hawaiian Islands, formerly known as the Sandwich Islands, were inducted into the U.S. territory in 1900. The archipelago of Hawaiian Islands include the major eight islands of Nihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, L?nai, Kahoolawe, Maui and the Island of Hawaii, and many islets.

The Hawaiian Islands were discovered and named as ‘the Sandwich Islands’ by British explorer Captain James Cook. The Hawaiian Islands were united for the first time under a single ruler, King Kamehameha the Great.

Hawaii or HI was recognized as the 50th state of U.S. in Aug. 21, 1959. The name of the state of Hawaii possibly came from the native Hawaiian word “Owhyhee” meaning homeland. The state is nicknamed as “the Aloha State”. Aloha is acknowledgment that can be used as greeting. Honolulu is the capital and the largest city of the state. Hawaiian and English are the official languages of the state.

The capital city of this most mountainous island in the carribbean is Castries, where most of its population resides. English being the official language of the region, tourists from around the world doesn’t face any difficulty in communicating.

One of the major landmarks of Saint Lucia is the famous cone-shaped Piton peaks situated at south of soufriere. This Windward island is loaded with scenic beauties, magnificent beaches, gardens with tropical flowers, glorious mountain peaks, historical marine sanctuary, infinite bars, breathtaking natural views and fantasic French and British artitecture. The island also possesses one of the world’s few drive-in volcanos.

The island has a numerous number of resorts, hotels, self-catering villas, condos, vacation apartments and cottages, which offers accomodation fit to suit all pockets. The people here are famous for their loving nature and hospitality.

Saint Lucia has two airports, Vigie Field Airport and Hewanorra International Airport with the latter being the bigger and the busiest of the two but it is a little far from all the main resorts in the northern island than the Vigie Filed airport. Frequent flights both in and out operate from North America and Europe from Hewanorra International Airport

The best method to travel around the island is by taxi, as the island supports organized Taxi service. Taxi service can be availed from virtually any place in the island. Other than that, most of the resorts also offer their own exciting regulated resort tours to all the promient tourist hot spots.

Climate— Ireland has a mild, but changeable, climate all the year. Light precipitation falls throughout the year. Late autumn and winter months sometimes experience snow and hails. The weather is reasonably warm from July to August, and many festivals also fall in this period. Thus July to August is the peak tourist season in Ireland. Spring and autumn can also be delightful seasons, with smaller crowds of tourists, but winter weather can be downright inhospitable.

Traveling To Ireland— Dublin Airport, Cork International Airport and Shannon Airport are three major airports of Republic of Ireland, which receives international flights from Europe, UK, and North America. The Irish national airline Aer Lingus and low-cost operator Ryanair are based at Dublin. Iarnród Éireann (Irish Railway) manages the Long distance passenger trains in the Republic that connect most major towns and cities across the country.
